3.0 and 3.5 Drill Clinics on December 1

Drill clinics for 3.0 and 3.5 players will be held on December 1st. Only sign up if you are a solid 3.0 or 3.5 player.  It is much better for you to participate in drills that are at or below your level than to participate in drills that are higher than your level.  Drills for 3.0 players will be from 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM on December 1, and drills for 3.5 players will be from 3:15 to 4:30 PM on December 1.  Sign-up by clicking here.

Dave Weinbach’s Clinics and Private Lessons,

December 12-14

Dave’s passion and excitement for pickleball comes through in his clinics and lessons. You will learn concepts like “RESPECT THE NET”, Back is BAD, Hyper-Focus and others that will stick in your head for a long time and make you a better pickleball player. Find out why his simple ideas are key to being consistent and playing well at ALL levels.
Dave was gracious to stop by the Quail Creek tent at Nationals to talk with us. He enjoyed his visit to Quail Creek so much last year that he made sure to leave time on his schedule to be here again.

At 47, Dave is still winning. He won Gold at Nationals at 19+ 5.0 and in the Minto Pro Open. How does he stay at the top of the game with the new wave of young, talented players? Find out by attending one of his clinics, you will probably be surprised.

Dave will offer the following clinics:

Clinic for Beginners and Advanced Beginners, Tuesday, December 12th from 2 to 4 PM.
Clinic for 2.5-3.0 players, Wednesday, December 13 from 1-3 PM.
Clinic for 3.5-4.0 players on Wednesday December 13 from 3 PM to 5 PM.

These clinics are fast paced and you will learn how to execute his pickleball concepts.   Clinics are $30 per person. Click here to sign up for a clinic.

Hourly lessons for groups or 3-4 players are also available at $30 per person.  Click here to sign up for private group lessons.

Beginner and Intermediate Drills

QCPC will be offering separate drill clinics for Beginners/Advanced Beginners and for 2.5-3.0 players. Starting November 28th, Beginner/Advanced Beginner drills will be on Tuesday and Saturday from 12 noon to 2 PM.  Courts 9-12 will be used for the Tuesday drills and Courts 5-8 will be used for the Saturday drills.  No sign-up is necessary for these drills.

Drills for 2.5 to 3.0 players will be held on Thursday from 10 AM to 12 noon on Courts 5 and 6.  Sign-up for these drills here.

Assisted Play Moves to Thursdays

Assisted Play for Beginners will move to Thursdays from 1 PM to 3 PM on Courts 5 and 6 until Christmas. Beginners play pickleball while more advanced players watch them and give pointers to improve their play. You should have taken a lesson or have some playing experience to participate, but don't hesitate to come because you think you aren't good enough. The first hour will be assisted and the second hour is reserved for beginners to continue playing together. Sign up for Assisted Play on November 30 here.

La Posada to Use Our Courts in December

The QCPC Board made an agreement with the POA Board to allow La Posada to use our courts in return for La Posada allowing swimmers to use their pool while the Quail Creek pool is closed.  In December, La Posada is permitted to use Courts 15 and 16 from 1 PM to 3 PM on Mondays and Thursdays.  So if you see these non-Quail Creek residents playing on those courts, please be cordial to them.
