With the change in temperature,
 Open Play and the Round Robins willstart at 8 am and go to 10 am.  
Starting 1 April 
All levels of Organized Play will start an hour earlier at 9 am




RUMOR HAS IT 
THERE WILL BE MORE COURTS!
 Jean Bustard, Jane Quirk, and Beth Larose 
mounted an effort to contact
 Mr. Robson about the benefits of additional  PB courts. 
The response was:
Jack Sarsum, (the Robson representative of the POA Board),
notified Jean Bustard that 

drum roll  

20 new courts are planned
for our future, possible start as early as 3 years

HERE ARE A FEW HIGHLIGHTS

Player Development Program ( Started Sept 2018) Overview
a partial review
Purpose – To provide pickleball learning activities for club
members of all skill levels
Goal – To create structure and materials for long term Player
Development Program
Strategy – To operate as a cohesive unit with teams
responsible for different components of the Program


VOTING

Motion to change the voting guidelines in our By-Law for our
November/March General meetings to be “a majority vote by the
members in attendance at the meeting”. Currently, we have to
have a legal quorum of 10% of the membership – Rejected




The Board approved the Shade Committee’s proposal and unanimously
recommended approval
 by club members.
 A motion was presented to accept the recommendation
 members approved.
QCPC will present it to the
QC Finance Committee for consideration and inclusion in the 2020 POA budget
If POA approves, construction in 2020
