Inter-Community Play at Green Valley East Center

Play began on Tuesday night with the 4.0+ group, followed on Wednesday night with 2.5’s and Friday night with 3.0’s.  Sunday night there is play for 3.5 level players.  The start time on Sunday night players was changed to 6 pm, same as the other nights.  So far the feedback is very positive and the set-up is great for players and spectators.  For more information, go to and click on the SignUpGenius button.

Pickleball Professional Pickleball Instructors Coming to Quail Creek in November and December 2017

We are incredibly fortunate to have both Mark Renneson and Dave Weinbach come back to Quail Creek at the beginning of next year’s pickleball season offering clinics and private lessons.  Mark will be here November 13 and 14 and Dave on December 13 and 14.  These dates may shift by a day based on final travel arrangements.  Both are excellent pro players and excellent instructors.  We decided to again have them both visit as they each provide great instruction and emphasize good techniques and habits.

To find out more about Mark Renneson click on or search for one of his many Youtube videos.

To find out more about Dave Weinbach watch the Gold Medal match at the Grand Canyon State Games or replays for his win at the US Minto Open that was aired on CBS Sports in May.

Drills Continue at 7:00 AM Tuesday and Thursday

On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 to 8:00 AM, a one-hour drill clinic will be offered for all men and women, any skill level.  We spend the hour working on footwork skills, specific paddle skills (dinking, lobing, 3rd shot drop, overhead shots, etc.) and stretching for pickleball players.  The Clinic will be on Courts 11 and 12. There is no need to sign-up.
