QCPC Newsletter, March 17, 2018

Member Ratings Posted

A list of QCPC members who have been rated either by USAPA or by IPTPA is now available on the website. Click on that tab at the top that says Member Ratings. Put in the password, (same as for the membership list), and you can see a list of rated members. This will allow you to contact players with skills similar to yours and set up games.

3.0 Drills are Back

QCPC will be offering 3.0 Drill clinics on March 22nd from 3 to 4:30 on Courts 5/6/7.

If you are interested in participating, please click here.

Limit of 12 participants.

2.5 to 3.0 Drills on March 22

Drills for 2.5 to 3.0 players will be on March 22nd from 10 AM to 12 noon on Courts 5 and 6.  There will be no 2.5 to 3.0 drills on March 29th, and then they will resume in April.  Because space is limited in these drills and there are more people wanting to sign up than can fit in the session, each individual may sign up only him/herself plus one other person (a spouse or pickleball partner).  To sign up for the March 22nd drills, login to Signup Genius here, click on Sign Up and then on Submit and Sign Up.  If you are signing up another person, be sure to set the Quantity to 2 and put the other person's name in the Comment field.  You will receive an e-mail verifying your sign-up.

Assisted Play for Beginners- Mondays and Thursdays

Assisted play gives beginners a chance to play with other beginners while more experienced players watch and give pointers on how to improve their game. This is not a lesson, but it will give you playing experience. If you have taken a lesson and/or have some playing experience, this is a great way to improve your playing skills.  The first hour will be assisted and the second hour will allow the beginners to play. After March 10, this will be every Monday and Thursday from 1 PM to 3 PM on Courts 5-7. You must sign up to attend.  Sign up here.

No Round Robin on March 21

Because of the Hey Jude Pickleball Social on March 21st, there will be no round robin in the morning.  The social begins at 3 PM with check-in starting at 2:30.  The slots are all filled for the social, but click here if you want to delete your registration or to check to see if there are any openings.
