Fourth Annual Pickleball Rodeo

The Fourth Annual “Pickleball Rodeo” at the Pickleball courts on Wednesday, April 18, from 9:00 to approximately 1:00.  A Pickleball Rodeo is a combination of friendly and fun skills competitions.  This year we will be competing as four-person teams in Serving, Return Serve, 3rd Shot Drop and Dinking contests, followed by the ever-popular and truly unique round robin relay tournament.  All skills levels are welcome.  A social and food sharing event will follow the competition.  Almost all the slots are full, but check here to see if there are openings.  If not, you may add your name to the Wait List and check back from time to time to see if any slots have opened up.  Registration will be closed on April 15 at 5:30 PM.

Coordinators Still Needed for Intercommunity Play

QCPC needs a few good players to be coordinators at this years Inter-Community (IC) play.  GVR/QCPC will offer IC play starting on April 30th at 6pm.  One evening every other week at QC, you would be the coordinator for the group you are playing with.  We can have more than one coordinator per group, so you might only do this once a month or less if we get enough volunteers.
The levels we need are 2.5/3.0/3.5/4.0.  Your only responsibility is to check off the players as they arrive, post the pre-printed brackets, and keep track of the Wins by each person (spreadsheet provided).  It is that simple and easy.
