OPEN PLAY ROUND ROBIN UPDATE

We have had a great turnout for the Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays Round Robins.  Karen Morse has volunteered to be the coordinator for the Round Robin for Tuesday and Friday @ 7 am.  Remember, no signup online, just show up at the courts by 6:45.  This is open for all levels.  The Round Robin is usually 6 games.

Finance Committee Presentation

The QCPC Board made our presentation to the Finance Committee to request additional Lighting and Shade. These were two separate proposals and we will find out in the Fall the outcome.

What is your Pickleball Reputation

Good sportsmanship is an essential part of promoting a positive atmosphere at our pickleball courts and being socially accepted by other players.  The following is a good article by Mark Renneson (Third Shot Sports) about behavior on the pickleball courts.

Coordinator for the Wednesday Round Robin

The QCPC needs a volunteer(s) to be the Coordinator for the Wednesday Round Robin. It is a fun and easy job.  Show up at 6:40 to put up the signup sheet and the Round Robin Sheet, and you also get to play.
You can job share this with a friend.  If interested, please email Steve Shapiro at sshapiro57@gmail.com.

Be sure to thank Hugh S and Linda V for doing this job over the summer.

CPR and AED Class Cancelled for September 16th.

The Club did not get enough interest for the CPR Class in September, and since the instructor comes down from Eloy the class was cancelled.

Inter-Community Play

We are in the final weeks of Inter-Community Play with GVR.  The last week will be here at Quail Creek on August 27/28/30/31.  If you haven't tried it...now is the time for some fun competitive play.
