TOURNAMENT
OH NO, NOT ME!
Have you ever thought about playing in a tournament,
but were a little apprehensive?
Well your QCPC Board of Directors
has found a way to get rid of that apprehension.
Now you can play in a tournament
with your fellow Quail Creek Members
at our own home courts.
The QCPC Board has decided to create
our own fun "Members Only" Tournament.
No ratings necessary,
no USAPA registration,
no travel,
and we will register through a Sign Up Genius link.
We are finalizing all the details, but this will be on Saturday/Sunday either March 28th/29th or April 4th/5th.
There will be Men's Doubles/Women's Doubles/Mixed Doubles for all levels (2.0/2.5/3.0/3.5/4.0+).
A small entry fee will be waived
for anyone volunteering
(check-in/refs/runners/ photograph/snacks)
Be sure to watch the newsletter for more details in the coming weeks!
The results from the recent QCPC Board survey concerning music are in. We had 218 responses and the results are listed below:
Question 1: Music will be allowed if players on adjacent courts are asked for and give consent... 50% yes 50% no
Question 2: No music will be allowed on courts 1-14. Music will be allowed to be played on courts 15-16... 66% no 34% yes
Question 3: I don't have an issue with this, so no changes need to be made...55% yes 45 % No
We appreciated everyones input to our survey, and after reviewing the survey results the QCPC Board has made the decision to not change any of our rules and regulations.
We would suggest that all members
continue be courteous
and consider your fellow members
when making your choice to play music.
