OPEN PLAY
CONFUSED BY FORMAT?
WONDERING HOW IT WORKS?
All club members are invited to come to open play. Open play days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday through Saturday 9 - 11AM and Monday & Thursdays 6 - 8PM, on courts 5 - 12. The format of the morning play is a Round Robin. There is a sign in sheet at the courts and the players wanting to start at 9AM are asked to sign in 15 minutes early so that play can start on time. YOU DO CAN COME AT ANYTIME OF OPEN PLAY HOURS, AND LEAVE AT ANYTIME. The round robin will continue with the numbers available at the start of each round robin.
Wednesday round robins (with a Social RR typically on Wed. morning) have more courts available. There is a requirement to be there early to sign in and have play start on time.
The QCPC is completely run by Volunteers.
Each year we have over 50 volunteers out of our 450 members that help with our Clubs activities.
Some of the job descriptions are:
Drill instructors and Assistants, Ambassadors, Recycling, Court Maintenance, Socials, Bulletin boards, Sound engineer, Ordering name tags/shirts/hats, Audit Committee and Board of Directors.
Even though all these volunteer opportunities don't appear to be exciting, they are all very important in making this club run smoothly. Can you imagine trying to take care of your Club without the dedication of all these valuable volunteers.
I am reaching out to that one person
who will be willing to be a part of the Volunteer team.
A person giving of their time to help us all keep things running smoothly...
I am asking for someone who would help by
stepping into the Secretary position...
This is one of the positions which will not require a great deal of your time, however, it will fulfill a very important need.
Please email me @ sshapiro57@gmail.com
as I would be more than happy to go over any questions.
Thank you in advance for your willingness to help in this need.
