New Member Benefit
The QCPC Board has approved the request
to have all courts 1-16 to be reserved
 by QCPC members only during
 the morning Prime Time year-round.
This time is designated Orange on our reservation page,
and Prime Time is adjusted seasonally throughout the year.
Previously, only courts 1-14 were reservable.

Also, there has been an update to the Policies and Procedures manual concerning single play reservations.
Courts may be reserved no more than seven days in advance.
Courts may be reserved for up to two (2) hours for doubles play.
Courts may be reserved for up to two (2) hours for singles play, no more than one hour of which may be in morning Prime Time.
Previously singles reservations were limited to 1-hour slots.

New Time
for
Requesting Court Reservations

No one likes getting up at midnight to reserve a time to play pickleball.

That changes tonight at 8 pm.
Effective at 8 pm Saturday, September 19th
you may start making a reservation
6 days 4 hours in advance.

For example...if you want to make a reservation for next Saturday,

you may make the reservation tonight at 8 pm!

The QCPC purchased a windsock and pole for courts 15/16.

Thank you David Thomas for installing the windsock.

So now you can use the wind as an excuse! 😉

Board Meeting

Round Robins Are Back!

Thanks to the cooperation of all QCPC members in following social distancing and mask guidelines, we have successfully kept our courts open.  That cooperation and QCPC’s reputation are the main reasons why the POA approved the QCPC Board’s recent request to allow player-organized round robins!

Effective Saturday, September 12th, player-organized Round Robins will be permitted, with a limit of 10 players on 2 courts.  Players must still provide their own pickleballs and continue to follow applicable social distancing and mask guidelines when entering/exiting the courts.  QCPC members organizing Round Robins may reserve up to two courts.

The POA rule allowing up to six players for a single-court reservation remains in effect.

The POA does not yet allow Club activities due to the restrictions put in place by Pima County.  We look forward to continued improvement in COVID-19 conditions so that this restriction can be modified or eliminated.

Again, a big thank you goes to all QCPC members for making this possible!

Just a reminder !

CONCRETE WORK
FOR BENCH PADS
COMPLETE!

The concrete pads are complete and can be used.
Be careful of the irrigation piping above ground by court 11.

It will be a while before we are able to
have benches for each pad.

More to come about that.
In the meantime, take a chair

 to the court
to use on the pad!

PERSONAL PICKLEBALLS

that are lost into the desert
are retrieved by AAA
and thrown onto the court
or placed in a ball sleeve on the court

If you find those balls,
please look for an indication of the owner
and leave other's balls in a ball sleeve on the courty.

Decontaminate the balls before use please.
