InterCommunity Pickleball
The Quail Creek and GVR Pickleball Clubs
are finalizing the plans
for the Intercommunity pickleball play starting on June 7th.
This is open to all members
regardless if you have an official rating or not.
Mondays at 6:30 pm will be 3.5
Tuesday at 6:30 pm will be 4.0+
Wednesday at 6:30 pm will be 2.0/2.5
Thursday at 6:30 pm will be 3.0
Thursday at 6:30 pm will be 3.0
This will be played every other week at Quail Creek
alternating with GVR East.
This is not a weekly commitment.
The SUG will be available on our website
for sign-ups 7 days in advance beginning at 9pm.
There will be a one-time $5 charge
to cover costs of the pickleballs at each court location.
I am looking for a coordinator
for just the weeks in QC for each skill level.
There can be multiple coordinators
for each skill level so no one has to cover each week.
The coordinator will check players in, collect the $5,
have non-residents sign the waiver,
and put up the appropriate Round Robin sheet.
This takes approx 15 minutes prior to the game.
The coordinator also plays that week.
If you are interested in being a coordinator
for your skill level or have any questions,
please email Steve Shapiro @ sshapiro57@gmail.com.

PICKLE 2 TRAINING CONTINUES
on the Pickle 2 pickleball
training machine?
If so, gather 2 to 4 QCPC members and
contact Jim Malone at jladmalone@gmail to set up a session.
During the session you will go through the safety protocols,
how to reserve the machine
in addition to the use and care of the machine.
The training session will last approximately 1
hour.
Remember, in order to participate on court
with the machine
you must have successfully completed the training offered
Did you know...
Did you know that the QCPC provides loaner paddles
for your house guests who want to play pickleball,
but don't have a paddle.
The loaner paddles are located in the storage bin
at the end of the walkway between courts 8-9.
Just remember to return the paddle
when you are done playing.
