QCPC HAS CLUB ROUND ROBINS

EVERY WEDNESDAY MORNING (9-11 AM)

Wednesday Club Round Robins
are a great way to grow
 your pickleball circle of friends!

They are for fun, “social” play
in a mixed round robin format
(no separate men’s and women’s groups).
Club Round Robins are open to any QCPC member
who knows the rules of pickleball
and can play without assistance (generally novice and above).

(Beginners are encouraged to sign up for QCPC beginner’s lessons and play in QCPC Assisted Play prior to participating in Wednesday Club Round Robins.)

To play in Wednesday Club Round Robins,
you must check-in at courts 5-12 between 8:30 AM and 8:50 AM
 (no Sign-up Genius).
 Late arrivals cannot be accommodated.
 These round robins are limited
to the first 38 members to check-in (first come, first served).
All participants should plan to play for the full two hours.

Competitive Play

QCPC members seeking a more competitive style
of play should consider signing up for weekly Organized Play (OP)
 and Skill-Level (SL) Round Robins
from 11 AM – 1 PM (see schedule below).
Sign up for these using SignUpGenius (see links on QCPC website).
Official USAP/IPTPA rating are not required for OP Round Robins.

2.0 OP Round Robins - Mondays
(for new players who have completed the beginner class or equivalent)

2.5 OP Round Robins  - Tuesdays
 (for novice players)

3.0 OP Round Robins - Wednesdays
 (for intermediate players)

3.5 OP Round Robins on Fridays
 (for advanced intermediate players)

4.0+ SL Round Robins on Mondays
(for advanced players; USAP/IPTA ratings are required)

Another great option for competitive play
is the Open Play Challenge Court
on Thursdays (9-11 AM on court 6).
 No partner or sign-up needed.
Just place your paddle in the nearby “paddle saddle.”

WANT TO HELP THE COMMUNITY
WHILE MAKING QCPC MORE VISIBLE?

ADOPT A ROAD

Several stretches of Old Nogales are part of the Adopt a Road (AAR) program run by the Town of Sahaurita.
Each group is expected to do a clean up quarterly.
Cleanups take an hour to an hour and a half.
The work is easy and good for the community.

Most sections are double adopted
so each gets cleaned about every six weeks.
Old Nogales Highway from Veterans Park south
is only single adopted and could use another group.

This would be a nice opportunity for the QCPC.
A sign that says The Pickleball Club of Quail Creek
would be put on both ends of the section.
It takes 8 to 12 people to do a clean up
and the town provides bags, pickers, gloves, and safety vests.

If you would be interested in participating.
