Why the change

in Prime Time Reservations?

In response to the QCPC survey,

members suggested we limit the number of courts reservable

by a group during Prime Time,

which will allow more individual members to reserve courts during this time.

The new limit during morning Prime Time starting March 17th

and running through April 30th

is one court for two hours per group.

Members of the reserving group

may not reserve additional courts or time

in the names of other group members.

Exception: If there are still unreserved courts after 9:00 PM

the evening before play,

members may reserve additional courts
during Prime Time up to a total of two.

QCPC Social vs. QCPC Tournament

What’s the Difference?

QCPC is holding a Round Robin and Social (10 AM through lunch) on Wednesday, March 23^rdto celebrate the start of major league baseball. The round robin is a mixed gender event without separate skill levels. It is a great way to meet new people and reconnect with old friends.

The QCPC Tournament will be held on Sunday, March 27^th, from 8:30 AM to 5 PM. This is a round robin tournament with separate divisions for women’s doubles and men’s doubles, each with four separate skill levels. There will be medal rounds to determine gold, silver, and bronze winners. A tournament lunch and party will be held in between events.

Though quite different, both of these events will be great fun.

Members are encouraged to participate in both.

Spring Training Social

Wear your favorite MLB team hat and/or jersey

and come join the fun on Wednesday, March 23!

Registration will be 9:00-9:45AM. Play begins at 10:00.

Signing up as a player commits you to playing six consecutive games.

Please do NOT sign up to play if you cannot make this commitment.

If you can't play, come and enjoy the games and food.

The pickleball club will be providing hot dogs.

We ask that players and attendees sign up for a food item for the social.

It is helpful if you label any serving dishes or utensils with your name.

Any items left behind will be washed and returned to the lost and found bin.

QCPC Tournament Format Change

Separate Men’s and Women’s Brackets

Thanks to your helpful feedback,

the QCPC Tournament on March 27

will not be a mixed round robin event.

Instead, the morning events will consist of

Women’s Doubles round robin and medal rounds.

The Men’s Doubles round robin and medal rounds

will be held in the afternoon.

This is a members-only tournament with four skill levels

Novice,

Beginner

Intermediate

and Advanced

(no ratings needed)

The focus is on FUN

and providing a no-pressure
tournament experience for members.

Everyone will play the same number of games

in the round robin,

and the top four teams will go on to medal rounds.

There is (of course!) a mid-day party

with food, music, and prizes

for players and spectators.

To accommodate the change in format,

sign-up will be delayed until Monday, March 14^th.
