Lenny Friedman Named Arizona Pickleball Education Ambassador
Larry Lite, USA Pickleball Southwest Regional Ambassador, announced that Lenny Friedman, Ambassador from Green Valley, has accepted the position of Pickleball Education Ambassador for Arizona. Lenny will help those ambassadors that would like to work with youth or are currently working with youth programs in Arizona.

Tawnya Sheffield is no stranger to breast cancer. Sixteen women in her mother’s family have had the disease. In 2013, Tawnya learned she had breast cancer. This is her story in her own words.

This entrepreneurial Tustin teen gives back through his love of pickleball.
McBride prepared a presentation and pitched the idea for USA Junior Pickleball Academy (USAJPA.com) to Tustin Public Schools Foundation. The academy continues this fall.
He enlisted a designer and came up with a logo, which he pitched to Nexxed owner Shawn Walker along with an idea for a new paddle better suited for intermediate players his age.

From banker to investments to writer and professional speaker, BelAir now finds himself in the role of a pickleball advocate and coach in the unlikeliest of places – correctional institutions. From Rikers Island to Cook County Jail, BelAir has traveled the country teaching pickleball to prisoners.
“It’s fun and rewarding,” he said.
